Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Crenel, the managed anti-bot hosting platform at crenel.icu. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not sign up.
1. The service
Crenel gives you a protected subdomain on a platform domain (or your own domain on Pro and Business plans), a place to upload static or PHP files, and an eight-layer challenge that runs in front of your content. Every visitor must pass the challenge before their request reaches your site. The challenge, the themes, the blocklist and the analytics are part of the service and may change as it improves.
2. Accounts
Crenel is invite-only. You need a valid referral code from a current member to create an account. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Accounts created from the same IP as the referrer, or with a code you generated yourself, are rejected.
Referral codes are a credit system, not a right. We can disable a code, hide it, or block an account from earning referral credit if the code is being abused.
3. Plans and payment
Plans are fixed packages: Starter, Pro and Business. One payment covers a single term, 1 month (30 days), 3 months (90 days) or 12 months (365 days); longer terms are discounted. Payment is in crypto only: BTC, LTC or USDT (TRC20). We never see or store card details, because there are none.
A plan activates automatically when the payment confirms on the network. Crypto payments are irreversible, and so is the purchase: once a payment confirms, the plan runs for the full term you paid for. Renewing early is always allowed and adds the new term on top of your remaining days. See the refund policy for the details.
Credit from referrals and promo codes is applied at checkout. Credit expires 12 months after it lands. Promo codes are issued at our discretion and can be withdrawn at any time.
4. Your content
You own the files you upload. You grant Crenel the limited right to store, serve and protect them so the service works. You keep full ownership and can delete your files at any time.
You are responsible for what you upload. PHP files run in a sandbox with restricted functions and a filesystem boundary around your site root. That sandbox is a safety measure, not a license: content that breaks the acceptable use policy is removed regardless of what the sandbox allows.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Crenel to host illegal material, phishing pages, malware, credential harvesting, spam, fraud, or content that infringes someone else's rights. The full list and the enforcement process are in the acceptable use policy. Violations can get content removed, accounts terminated, and IPs blocklisted.
6. Lapse and termination
When your term runs out, your subdomains go offline until you renew. Your files stay on the platform, so renewing brings everything back. If an account stays lapsed, we may delete the files after a reasonable period; we will warn you first.
We can suspend or terminate an account for breaking these terms, for abuse, or when required by law. You can stop using Crenel at any time. Termination for breach does not refund the current period.
7. Liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the challenge gate up and the blocklist current, but we do not guarantee that every bot is caught or that the service never goes down.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crenel is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes are announced in the Telegram channel before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
